Trade Counter Assistant Liverpool at National Lighting - Liverpool

The Role:

  • Proactively sell to both existing and new customers in order to meet and exceed sales and margin targets, and to continually work to build and develop the customer base at their branch
  • Flexible to carry out various roles and duties in the branch including Stores and Trade Counter Sales
  • To process orders from incoming goods to despatch
  • To handle customer queries
  • To contribute to the team in terms of sales action plans and customer development
  • Provide the highest possible levels of both service quality for our Customers, and performance for the Company
  • To keep minimum operational standards – to ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
  • To sell promoted products to customers

The Candidate:

  • Preferred experience of contracting and/or electrical products
  • Ideally, has at least 2 years “business to business” preferably in an electrical wholesale organisation
  • Has worked in a customer service environment
  • Has a good knowledge of the electrical industry, products,  competitors, suppliers etc.

Partnerships Manager at National Lighting - London

The Role:

  • Assist with the development and execution of the partner marketing strategy for all digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Create partner marketing assests in partnership with content and graphic design
  • Lead the acquisition of new partnerships
  • Manage existing partnerships and partnership channels such as Print and Affiliate Marketing
  • Build and mainting partner relationships with internal partners including product and manufacturing teams, legal and sales
  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead to communicate the brand strategy to the business
  • Represent the company at partner events
  • Track and Manager partner spending and budgets
  • Evaluate partner effectiveness and design/implement continuous optimisation
  • Support the company's commitment to protect integrity, confidentiality and brand amongst partners
  • Assist all related marketing channel manager. E.g. content, display and PPC.
The Candidate:
  • BA degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
  • 2 or more years of experience in a partnership manager or marketing role
  • Client facing experience
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Excellent cross-functional team player
  • Result-driven, self-motivated, organised, proactive and collaborative attitude
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • MBA or MA is a plus
